Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release
ECTR or Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release is a minimally invasive technique which allows the Transverse Carpal Ligament to be cut without having to cut throught the skin of the palm. This means potentially less post-operative pain, earlier return to work and the ability to wash and self care earlier following surgery.
At the GC CTC the technique used is the Wolf System from Germany. This “State of the Art” equipment allows safe, precise and atraumatic carpal tunnel release surgery to be performed using “Key Hole Surgery”.
